ABHIJIT BHADRA is a person who is seriously concerned about the ongoing social problems and inequalities around him. He is, even in his old age, highly dedicated in performing his social responsibilities as far as possible for him within his meagre capacity and limited enclosure.

ABHIJIT BHADRA is a down-to-earth person and believes in the philosophy of “simple living and high thinking”.

RECALLING HIS EARLY CHILDHOOD DAYS

ABHIJIT BHADRA says, “My father was a Govt. doctor by profession. The lesson of serving the needy people of the society was imbibed in me by my father. I saw my father serving the poor and needy people of the rural areas as a dutiful doctor and a dutiful citizen of this country. From thereon, the desire to serve the society was sown in my mind.”

ABHIJIT BHADRA always considers his own father to be an idol for him in shaping his mind and character as a human being who believes in the concept of “Live and let live”.

Standing at the fag-end of his life, ABHIJIT BHADRA is very eager to take part in the societal and collaborative approaches with a dream to bring a significant change in the education sector of WEST BENGAL.

PISUPATI VENKATA SESHA SARMA says, “I saw my parents helping many people with their own means and it had a good effect. They were respectful and kind when talking to anyone and listening to others. They did not limit the help to money only but they were also giving their valuable time to emotional aspects by listening carefully, giving suggestions and giving support. My father always inspired me to be kind to others. My mother was an independent woman. Apart from being a practical mother, she always taught us to work hard and be self-reliant in life. So I have been greatly influenced by my parents since childhood. Leadership quality and social thinking were in me from the very beginning. I used to have a big dream of being a successful man one day and at the same time serve the needy people.”

SWAPNA BHADRA is a retired Nursing Staff of Government of West Bengal. In her service life, she served the people of rural areas with diligence and dedication. In course of her service, she noticed the various difficulties faced by the rural people, especially the women and the children.

SWAPNA BHADRA has a desire to do something for such women and children by providing them with required support for a better life for them.


RECALLING HER EARLY CHILDHOOD DAYS

SWAPNA BHADRA says, “I was born in a middle-class family. From my childhood, I was inspired and motivated by the teaching of my parents. My parents taught me to lead a life of simplicity without any pomp and unnecessary grandeur. This lesson by my parents shaped my inner character.”

SWAPNA BHADRA is a very soft-spoken and caring person. She believes in the saying “simplicity is the best order” from the innermost core of her heart.

She is very eager to participate in the developmental approach towards the society. As a part of this society, she wants to do something for the development of the backward people of WEST BENGAL. She cherishes a dream in her mind to be a part of this journey to create a better society to live in.

ABHISHEK BHADRA is a very energetic and enthusiastic soul. He is very sincere in his approach and committed to fulfil his duties towards the society. He is an earnest lover of Education and he wants to take part in spreading education among the children of the needy people of WEST BENGAL.

ABHISHEK BHADRA leads a very simple life and always dreams to do something positive for society. He has been working in the field of education for more than one decade. In this journey of more than one decade, he has come across many students who, in spite of being meritorious, fail to take the advantage of advanced education on account of their parents’ poor financial condition. This experience has jerked his mind to a great extent and he has sincerely felt for such underprivileged meritorious students.

So, he wants to fulfil his social commitment by taking part in spreading the scope of education among such students.

ABHISHEK BHADRA says, “I was grown up in such a family where I received the teaching of simple lifestyle and social commitment. My parents’ simple living has motivated me to follow their life-philosophy and to participate actively in the societal development.”
